Q: How soon can I get a dumpster?
A: Usually within 24 hours.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Cash and checks. Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee.

Q: For how long can I rent a dumpster?
A: Usually for two weeks, but special deals can be made for longer than the normal two week period.

Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Monday through Saturday, 7am until 5pm. Closed Sundays.

Q: Can I bring my own scrap to the salvage yard or transfer station?
A: Yes, by appointment.

  Q: Do you recycle?
A: Yes, all materials are recycled. Metal is melted down & wood is turned into energy
by way of boiler fuel. Shingles are reused as aggregate. Sheetrock is broken down
to add to loam to enhance it.

Q:
How do I know how big of a container I need for my project?
A: As a rule, 10 sq. yards of shingles = 1 ton. A ton is equal to about 30 bundles.
A 15 yard container holds approximately 2 tons (about the size of a basement).
A 30 yard container holds approximately 4 tons (about the size of 3 rooms).
A 40 yard container holds approximately 6 tons (about the size of a small 2-car garage).
Generally, a 40 yard is used when a machine is loading it.
It’s always good to over estimate, rather than incur an additional fee for bringing in a new container. The 30 yard is usually the best value for most tasks, as it's easier to load.

Q: Does the price of a dumpster include pick up and disposal of it’s contents?
A: Yes, unless the weight of the materials in it is more than the normal weight for the container.  The price is based on the average weight for a filled container. If it weighs more than ¼ of a ton over, you will be charged for the excess weight by the ton. The container is weighed and before and after.

Q: Do you take tires?
A: We have a tire recycling program for larger amounts of tires. Please call or visit our services page for more information about this program.

Q: How do you charge for transfer station and salvage yard services?
A: We charge by the weight of the materials. Scrap metal is taken for free.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: We are not accepting credit cards at this time.
